NextGen Virtual Summit
The brief:
NextGen is a summit about inspiring and preparing emerging leaders in government, providing training to public servants looking for opportunities to lead. Since 2010, NextGen has inspired over 5,000 federal, state and local govies to become the next generation of thoughtful leaders in government. 2022 was a year of big change for NextGen, including making the training free to all attendees, migration to the virtual environment and a complete overhaul of the platform. Role: Lead designer.

NextGen Public Service Awards: Each year, NextGen Public Service Award nominations are opened to the public and results are announced in October. The awards recognize individuals selected from the public service community for their intelligence, exuberance and dedication to improving and invigorating government. As a way to differentiate the awards ceremony from the rest of the event’s branding, I developed this gradient using NextGen’s colors. I created social media posts to promote the awards and winners, designed the personalized card and booklet sent to each winner, and the presentation that was displayed as winners were announced at the event.
